Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments-Series II
(MCA-IIs)

The Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments—Series II (MCA-IIs) are reading and mathematics tests that help schools and districts measure student progress toward state academic standards. In 2006-07, these tests were given in grades 3-8, 10 and 11 in reading and mathematics. In 2008, a science portion was also given to grades 5 and 8, and once in high school after the completion of the life sciences curriculum.
